Crystal is a learning and development consultant, public speaking coach, workshop facilitator, and author who provides coaching in leadership development, public speaking, and interviewing. She has more than 40 years of experience as a corporate trainer and instructional designer, and she has conducted more than 500 workshops and delivered training to more than 3,000 individuals from all organizational and corporate levels at Fortune 500 companies.

She has earned the Toastmasters International top public-speaking certification and recognition of Distinguished Toastmaster.  She also has directed a Youth Toastmasters Leadership program in Charlotte that resulted in more than 100 high-school students’ being coached/trained in public speaking and leadership skills and graduating from the program.

She has conducted and coached public-speaking training to more than 45 high-school students in the Young Black Leadership Alliance program. She also has coached young speakers who competed in oratorical contests, won top speaking honors in oratorical contests, received awards, and won thousands of dollars in scholarships. One of her students became Miss North Carolina in 2019.

Crystal holds an M.S.Ed. degree in Adult Education from North Carolina A&T State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
